MARIGOLD PHOTOGRAPHY
Meet Nancy Cox, energetic early morning runner, avid gardener, daughter’s soccer team coach, and Marigold Photography’s owner/operator/photographer and creative force. Her long-time interest in photography intensified after she had her first child, and eventually led her to study and graduate from the Washington School of Photography’s Professional Photography program in 2009. After working intermittently, and taking some time off to have a third child, Nancy started Marigold Photography in 2012 which specializes in on-location family portraiture and professional headshots. Recently she’s begun work with Go Brent, shooting interiors as well as other special projects, such as the Community Partners Project. “It’s been great fun getting to know other local business owners,” she says. Nancy is a true professional and we think you’ll agree that her work is top-notch!
Nancy moved around quite a bit growing up but has called Silver Spring home for over 13 years. Her favorite local haunt is Kaldi’s Coffee which she says has “(an) excellent product, friendly staff, great vibe, and a diverse, vibrant crowd… just like Silver Spring!”
